RNHA Responds to Economic Recession

The Executive Board of the Rpublican National Hispanic Assembly conviened a special session to discuss the impact of the economy on its members.  As a result of the meeting, the RNHA Executve Board unanimously approved waiving all membership dues for the calander year 2009.

Chairman Loa Takes The Helm

The California Republican National Hispanic Assembly's new leader has a long history of service and outreach to the Latino community. Richard Loa assumed the Chairmanship role after past Chairman Richard Rios accepted the position as state director for the Christian Coalition.

"Richard Loa has proven himself to be a leader who can continue to move the Hispanic conservative community by supporting candidates who share our values." Rios stated.

Chairman Loa has served at various levels within the RNHA organization and is one of the longest serving members. He is recognized throughout the state for his integrity and knowledge of public policy.

We understand that Arizona has reacted to the failure by the federal government to control the borders and protect American citizens from the violence and human trafficking taking place at the border.

Career prosecutor to lead immigration agency

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama has named a career prosecutor to head the federal government's immigration enforcement operations.

If confirmed, John Morton would be the third federal prosecutor to head Immigration and Customs Enforcement, an agency in the Homeland Security Department. Morton is acting deputy assistant attorney of the Justice Department's Criminal Division.

    Lydia GuiterrezRNHA State Parliamentarian Lydia Gutierrez was elected the 1st Vice Chair of the Los Angeles County Republican Party.
     California RNHA Chairman Richard Rios expressed his appreciation for Mrs. Gutierrez stating “Chairwoman Gutierrez is a role model for the Latino community. She continues to tirelessly work toward the betterment of her community by dedicating countless hours to the LA County GOP party as well as the Republican National Hispanic Assembly.
    Mrs. Gutierrez is a member of the Los Angeles County RNHA Chapter.

    RNHA members not only focus on building Latino community involvement but they are also influential in County Republican Parties throughout the state.  State Chairman Rios was recently elected to the Orange County Republican Party Central Committee for the 72nd Legislative District.
